Karen White Masry
After working in the Public Sector for more than 18 years, including 10 years as a director in public health, Karen founded Avise Consulting to share her knowledge and experience in management, leadership, and environmental health with her clients and community.
She is a Professional Engineer and a life-long learner, with B.Sc and Master degrees in Chemical Engineering, certificates in leadership development, and various training in facilitation and environmental health.
Karen is passionate about working with others to help create opportunities for collaborative and empowered conversations aimed at establishing cohesive teams and sustaining strategic, forward-thinking work practices.
Karen cherishes her time in nature with her husband, daughter and her dog. When she’s not with with her family or working, she volunteers her time with the Advisory Board for the National Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health, mentors leaders taking leadership development training and offers lectures to university students.
